If you are using POS devices (and perhaps a few other hardware devices), the iconnect360 elevated trust is required in order for them to work and connect with the iconnect360 application. The following is a simple guide on how to check if your computer has the elevated trust installed.
The easiest way is to go to iconnect360 login page. If the words "Elevated trust" appear below the Login button, then you do have the elevated trust installed on your computer.
An alternative method is to check for the program name. Note that the below steps are based on Windows 7 operating system.
- Click the Start
button.
- Click Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program.
- Look for the Program Name "iConnect360 Point Of Service" as proof of installation.
If you see the program name listed, then you do have iconnect360 elevated trust installed on your computer.
If you do not see the elevated trust label, don't fret. You probably do not need it. If it is required, our user guides would have detailed the steps as part of your hardware installation process. For more information, check the FAQs for Hardware.
