You need to assign a user to the till before the user can start a POS shift or execute any POS transactions, such as sales and refunds, on that till.
- At the Site level, click Settings > POS from the left menu.
- Select the Tills tab.
- Select the required till name.
- Click the Edit link.
- Select the Users field to select the user.
- In the User Lookup pop-up window, search for the user’s name in the Choices column.
- Select the user’s name.
- Click the Select (right arrow) button to move the user’s name to the Selected column.
- Click OK.
- Click Save Changes.
A confirmation message appears at the top of the till’s page.
