One of the most challenging areas in business is collecting money. We understand that many failed payments arise out of insufficient funds at the time of debit billing. We do also realise that it is not the intention of customers not to pay. In most cases, folks are just waiting for their salary or income to be credited so that the money can be debited for various payments that one has to make.
As a membership management software, our aim is to help you reduce failed payments by providing you billing flexibility for your customers. You can select and change the preferred billing day for your customer upon them signing up for a membership. Here’s what you can do.
Select an alternative date for the customer’s first payment.Grab your customers while they are still hot with interest in your club. Do not let the first payment get in the way. If they only have the money at the end of the week, then sign them up now but schedule the first payment to a later date. Learn How.
Defer the recurring payment start date. This is extremely useful if you wish to run a “free-for-first-month” promotion. You can sign customers up immediately with them paying nothing until the second month. Here’s how you can do it.
(1) Select the Membership Start date as today.
(2) Select the Recurring Payment date to start one month after today.
(3) Change the First Payment amount to $0.00.
Allow your customers to choose their preferred billing day. It’s always easier if we can collect all payments on the same day. Easy for the business but this may not be ideal for the payee. If customer service is your focus, then you may just want to allow your customers to choose their own date or day for regular billing. Learn more.
